Winnipeg Traffic Wayfinding System:
2004-2006Winnipeg Center City Wayfinding, in 3-D
Informing Design created a 3-D model of Downtown Winnipeg for use in kiosks and visitor map brochures (nearly 1,000,000 in print). Wayfinder signs were designed with a "tilted arc" to compliment the existing city logo (with arc carrying over to top of pole). Easy-to-maintain euro-style boxes house traffic-sign faces, creating a clean, smart look -- front and back -- at a very low cost.
